A little more punky than the prior records
Axegressor have moved away from the standard Slayer-esque sound, this time record number four, 'Bannerless', has a bit of a raw, punky vibe to it. It's still fast and aggressive for the mopheaded fan base, but this a different Axegressor than prior records. Opening track "In Safe Space No One Can Hear You Scream" sets the tone with shorter strumming and a less heavier sound. I'm not sure if this was what I was looking for with their new album...but I applaud the modification. It's a take it or leave it attempt.
