Colombia's Sol De Sangre's self titled debut album is something that I've thoroughly enjoyed sinking my teeth into. The band have clearly been influenced by the likes of Morbid Angel, Death, and Napalm Death to name a few. While the love for those bands are ever present, Sol injects some of their own style and evilness to the musical offerings. The band clearly are good at their craft but the guitar tone and work itself really impressed me on this release. Clean, precise, fast playing and some seriously wicked solos.
