This is the second album for Blood God, the brainchild of Debauchery's Thomas Gurrath. I believe Gurrath is playing every instrument here, a macabre exercise in AC/DC tongue-in-groove while leaning into metal's faster Teutonic sound. I'm not sure how much this differs from bands like Bullet and Airbourne, but with the man's extreme background it may appeal to some. "Defenders of the Throne of Fire" may be the best AC/DC cut since "Thunderstruck". The digipak version has a second disc of the whole album in death metal vocals. Genius.
