Comeback album for these German power metal vets
German power metal act Voice was a real highlight of the 90s for me. Often compared to Stratovarius or Edguy, I always thought the band had a great look and sound. Sadly, Voice took off about 14 years between albums but get right back to business with new record 'The Storm'. This has a lot of different textures but keeps both feet firmly in the Teutonic heavy metal sound. Melody, superb vocals, quality writing and Mirko Hofmann's (UFO, Eloy) excellent co-production makes this the perfect storm. Voice are riding a career high.
Recommended for fans of: Edguy, Stratovarius, Dream Evil
