Rather basic and elementary, Austria's Adamon offer up a doomy version of frosty death metal similar to early My Dying Bride or Morgion. The riffs are slow but calculated, however the pacing leaves something to be desired. Cuts like "Odin's Eye" rise from the ice like Amon Amarth with that northern penchant for Viking mythology. Other songs like "Still Alive" are slightly more diverse with some cleaner vocals and different arrangements. The percussion is probably a little more spaced out than necessary, contributing to the plodding development of the songs. I would be curious to see the evolution of the band based on this average output.
