Southern California act Morfin have released their second record to date with 'Consumed by Evil'. It's fast, furious and incorporates everything from death metal's chainsaw riffing to the NOLA harsh vocals of acts like Crowbar and Eye Hate God. For me, it all runs the same with generally the same consistent sound through its thirty-five minutes of play. Not terrible by any means, but probably much better with a live performance.
