Black metal debut that is sure to turn some heads
Diktatur have captured my attention with their debut album 'La Voie Du Sang'. The songs range from 3 to 9 minutes in length and the band does a decent job at keeping your interest throughout songs that reach the 6 minute mark or longer. There were a few times I found my mind straying only to have it brought right back to attention with a slight little adjustment to the guitar tone and pace. I was quite impressed with Diktatur's debut release and have a feeling that fans of the black metal genre will soon be taking notice of this band and deservedly so.
Recommended for fans of: Old Man's Child, Borknagar
