It's been ten years since Billy Milano and his crossover act M.O.D. have released new material. The group disbanded most recently in 2012 only to reform again three years later. 'Busted, Broke & American' follows that same sort of angst as prior albums, notably the political satire portions that populate most of the band's material. 'You're a Fucking Dick' is the fast-paced punk-metal fusion that makes this band so much fun. The title track has a slower, hook-laden riff across Milano's pissed off lyrics. I've played 'Shattered Dreams & Broken Glass' for days --'If you ain't down with a hardcore punk you ain't down with shit'. Poetic beauty.
