Jailbirds are a four-piece combination of Irish and Australian members. While it's not the most original thing on the planet, this debut recording is just fun as Hell. Singer Axel McDonald is way above average and sounds very youthful and energetic with his bar swagger. Musically it's a lot of simple blues riffs but the youngsters inject a ton of melody to swing it to traditional metal. I'm loving this stuff and the industry is embracing it based on early reviews.
