Witchmaster/Voidhanger's split "Razing the Shrines of Optimism" delivers some of the most intense blackened thrash I've had the pleasure of assaulting my ears with as of late. The Witchmaster side has only two studio tracks and three live recordings. The studio tracks were perfectly done and the live tracks were ok, the mix being a little drum heavy. Would have preferred another studio track personally. Voidhanger's three tracks however stole the show. These three songs are blisteringly aggressive and are quality through and through. Definitely take the time to listen to this one, you won't be sorry at all!
