Sweden's Enforcer are among trad metal's best new purveyors, so it's no wonder this new band effort from Enforcer's Joseph Tholl and Jonas Wikstrand works similar magic. Except these guys take us even further back in time, referencing nothing newer than about '82, invoking the likes of Praying Mantis and Ethel the Frog, while Tholl's voice bears a strong resemblance to Paul Di'Anno. Guitar tones sound even older, like mid-'70's Lizzy. The whole thing is a tasty retro feast, but the band is at its best on tuneful, almost commercial rockers like "Voodoo Queen" and the title track. Nothing new, but it's fun stuff. So, like, up the horns and shit.
