The Murder of My Sweet is generic, trendy female fronted metal. All in all it's not very interesting. The songs are very pedestrian, yet the vocals are fairly decent. The riffs are fairly catchy and there are plenty of hooks thrown in but they fail to ensnare the listener since there isn't really much going on. The album was very hard to listen to as it sounds like a lot of other bands out there and each song sounds almost identical to the previous song. Sample and preview this one but don't spend too much time on it. There is much better metal out and about.
