Hexen's Being and Nothingness is some good old school thrash with a hint of death metal and prog thrown in for good measure. Great, melodic guitar work with lots of groove heavy riffs. Vocals are very raw, almost barked at times and give the songs an added edge. Stand out tracks are "Defcon Rising" and "indefinite Archetype". Very under the radar band and worth tracking down. Fans of thrash and metal alike will enjoy this album and will want to check out their back catalog of material as well.
