"I think we've grown a bit musically and personally, but we're still basically the same rock band."
Who are you touring with on this tour?

Right now we're out doing headlining gigs on our own. Most of these have local support bands. We're doing some gigs this summer with other national acts like Warrant, Jackyl, and others.

What are you looking forward to on this tour?

I just like playing music. That's why I do this. I guess the rest is just icing on the cake!

As a band do you prefer smaller venues or the large arenas?

I like larger venues as long as they are full. If they are not, I'd MUCH rather be in a smaller venue that's slam-packed full of people ready to rock.

How has Firehouse evolved as a band since the beginning?

I think we write differently now, with more thought out music, and lyrics that are more meaningful. I do think that we've stayed true to our rock and roll roots more than we've changed in any way. I think we've grown a bit musically and personally, but we're still basically the same rock band.

Do you think your audience has changed over the years? Do you think that your audience is getting younger?

I do see a lot of young people coming to the shows, but we've always had a very wide range of ages out there in the audience from the beginning. I'm just glad that people want to hear our music.

Is there a new album in the works, and when can fans expect it?

We're talking about it. I'm not sure when it'll be finished.

Of all the firehouse albums which one is your favorite and why?

I like our latest album, PRIMETIME, the most because it's the most fresh and I think it really shows our diversity.

I know you have a solo album out, is there any other solo albums coming out from you or anyone else from the bands?

I'm sure I'll put out another side project in the future. I write a lot of music that I want to get out there, and FireHouse isn't always the right vehicle for it.

With Wanderlust, how do you feel about it is doing with the fans?

I've gotten nothing but great reviews from the critics and the fans. Many people are surprised to hear me sing. It's been very gratifying.

Is there anything that you would have done differently or would want to do differently if you could redo Wanderlust?

Not a thing. I'm very proud of the album.

What is in your current playlist?

We are constantly changing it so we can keep our audience as well as ourselves excited, but we have a handfull of songs that we play every night, otherwise the crowd wouldn't let us leave!!
