This retro doom movement is possessing most of my listening of late. Ghost B.C., Noctum and now Black Wulf. This Oakland band will be a much talked about affair this year based on the validity of debut record "Mind Traveler". The genre's mandatory thick drums and thicker riffs makes for a glue that holds fast for this mid-tempo build up. This is probably smarter than Grand Magus but still possessing the same metal authority and self confidence. Grab this one early so you can say you were there in the beginning.
