Upon listening to "Construct" several times, I just couldn't get in to it. The album is comprised of 10 tracks and clocks in at almost 70 minutes but those songs, while having a pretty interesting mix of styles, tend to feel a bit longer than the length of each track. The music is a great blend of Post Black/Post Rock and Post Metal and the band can seamlessly transition between each style. This is definitely metal for folks that like a lot going on with their music. I'm not necessarily opposed to that kind of metal but this particular release just didn't do much for me at all.
