Byfrost is a Black/Thrash Metal band that is reminiscent of old Dimmu Borgir/Immortal with a touch of Testament thrown in. The vocals mix well between the screechy wails of black metal and guttural barks of thrash. The production leaves a little to be desired and the music is very repetitious. Guitars and drums just kinda seem to do go off on their own path. "Lord Victorious" is a great showcase of the black/thrash style this band brings. Bottom line though, there's other stuff out there that's better in either genre.
