Band Bad City Title Welcome To The Wasteland Type LP/EP Company Atlantic YOR 2011 Style Hard Rock Popular Reviews 2/26/2011 7:38:41 AM - Review by: Eric Compton Chicago offers up a brand new band in the form of Bad City. These youngsters capture the fun times of the 70s and 80s on this debut entitled "Welcome To The Wasteland". The influences range from KISS to Cheap Trick but still maintain enough modern functionality to appeal to fans of Story Of The Year and Three Days Grace. The vocals are very well done and often the act hone in those large gang chants utilized so well by Bang Camaro. This is a great piece of American rock and roll but not all together a solid album. Odd placement on Atlantic Records in this day and age and even more bizarre is a tour with Chicago natives Smashing Pumpkins.
