COMMENTS:
If you haven't had a good ear-hole pummeling lately grab the new Hero's Last Rite. The brief intro on the title track is the calm before the storm on this journey through a caravan of thrash and death metal styles. "The Mirror's Face" invokes the likes of Slayer and Exodus interwoven with layers of Gothenburg melodies and old school blast beats. Produced with an energetic and raw quality blended cohesively with the solid musicianship. Pleasantries include Plague, Realign and the blistering Viral Judgement. There are riffs aplenty but Steve and crew deliver a masterpiece with Generation Why. Nonstop thrash extravaganza with no apologies.
