Hard rock with a nod to goth, punk and horror
COMMENTS:
The Fright are a difficult band to describe. Think dark hard rock with a nod to goth, or if Crazy Lixx, The 69 Eyes, Lordi and Bauhaus all had a monster baby. Oddly, The Fright kick total ass and have four albums prior to this new release--why isn't anyone talking about them? 'Canto V' blends all of the above influences into a funeral home torn apart with shouting, drinking, and seances. The ghouls place esteemed producer Waldemar Sorychta behind the knobs giving it a crisp, surgical polish.
RECOMMENDED FOR FANS OF:
Crazy Lixx, The 69 Eyes, Bauhaus
