French power metal sensation Lonewolf have
unleashed their newest album, "Unholy
Paradise" on the world via Goi Music. Lonewolf are a true metal band, offering up the
"old brew" stylings of Germany's leaders in power metal, Grave Digger and
Accept, with the raw delivery of Britain's Venom.
In 1993, LONEWOLF was born near Grenoble, France, (same as WWF wrestler Andre the Giant).
The first demo tape was recorded entitled
"The Calling". This one had good reviews in the underground metal world, and
almost 450 copies has been sold. In 1995, the 7" "Holy Evil" is recorded,
and again, good reviews were there for it in fanzines and international magazines (Japan,
Greece, Germany, Belgium, USA, Portugal, Spain, etc...). Almost 2000 copies of Holy Evil
are now sold...
In 1996, after a bad contract, Lonewolf sadly had to split up.
But in 2000, Lonewolf came back, and, after a year the album "March Into The
Arena" was born, produced by LONEWOLF (Line up: FELIX, DRYSS, MARK and JENS). Cover
artwork and logo were designed by the talented Jean-Pascal Fournier (Immortal, Edguy,
Avantasia, Impaled Nazarene...).
During spring 2002 Lonewolf signed with GOI MUSIC, a spanish label. "March Into The
Arena" is reedited and and distributed all around Europe.
NOW, the band has a new album, and a new vision. With their new record, Lonewolf set out
on a mission to show the metal masses that power metal is truly a global statement, not
only confined to the lands of Sweden and Germany, but also in France as well.
Now the French wolfpack are hungry and ready for global domination, possibly turning the
Earth into an "Unholy Paradise".
