Dec Spotlight - Image of Eden
Described as "...the most phenomenal display of musicianship in the Mid-Atlantic
region," Images of Eden is an extremely intense hard rock band with a technical, yet
melodic edge. They combine explosive music and powerful vocals with lyrics that are
extremely passionate and true to life. With 90+ years of collective experience, Images of
Eden features top-notch musicianship and definitely stands out among bands today. If you
like your music with intense energy and emotion from beginning to end with a sound you'll
never forget, then Images of Eden is an absolute must hear!!!
"Images of Eden" (concept by Gordon Tittsworth) or more aptly, "Visions Of
A Perfect World" - We all know that the world we live in is very far from perfect. In
fact, it is safe to say that we live in a world full of hatred, death, lies, war, sorrow,
etc... "Eden" describes the inner peace, serenity, strength, and love that lies
within us all. The weight of the world every day can be a heavy burden on us, but one must
separate themselves and their own lives from the outside world and find their own
"Eden". Quality of life should not be judged by one's surroundings, but how one
adapts to and deals with their surroundings, because a perfect world can truely exist. It
can be found inside one's own mind, body and soul. You can choose to exist in a apathetic,
dismal world of negativity- or you can choose to find the "Eden" that lies
within you... because it certainly does not lie outside your front door.
Their 2001 debut CD, "Chapter I", was recorded by Gordon Tittsworth as a one-man
project (with a session drummer) with a goal to form the ultimate Mid-Atlantic Hard Rock
act around. Once "Chapter I" was complete, the search for musicians began.
Images had gone through several members and had auditioned even many more before deciding
on the final lineup.
Now that the lineup is finally complete, Images of Eden will be releasing "Sunlight
of the Spirit" (the long awaited follow up to the independent 2001 release of
"Chapter I") on NuParadigm Music worldwide around the turn of the year (date
TBD). It has already been released locally in the Baltimore, DC area on October 26, 2005
as a "promotional release".
