When you think of the terms classic rock, heavy metal, New Wave of British Heavy Metal (NWOBHM) or just plain 80's rock, the one place you don't expect to hear mentioned is the sunny coastal city of San Diego, California.

HARD ECHO is a 5-piece classic heavy metal band that combines the vintage 80's New Wave of British Heavy Metal sounds of RIOT, SAMSON and IRON MAIDEN but with a 21st Century sound of their own.

The band features superb world-class vocalist Mark Arrington, who is a dead ringer for deceased former RIOT throat Rhett Forrester in the looks department with his curly lion mane hair. The guitar department features 2 of the city's most incredibly talented six string fret masters Tony Jenkins and Tim Bailleul. The bass department belongs to the "Enforcer of Discipline" himself Norm Campbell, who happens to be the one band member
who is the epitome of what HARD ECHO is all about. The drum department is held by the one and only drum doctor Tom Wallace.

HARD ECHO has just recently self released their very 1st cd titled TRADED SECRETS, which features 10 smokin metal tracks that bring back the British metal sounds of the 80's straight onto the year 2004. From the opening salvo of I AM FOREVER, the ripping THE PERFECT CRIME and SOMEDAY THE BLIND are just some of the jewels to be found on this cool as hell cd. TRADED SECRETS features top flight vocals, sizzling guitars, pounding bass and chest thumping drums throughout.

The cover artwork was designed by world famous artist Marc Sasso who has done cd covers for DIO-Killing The Dragon, CAGE-Darker Than Black, ROB ROCK-Eyes of Eternity, MORBID ANGEL-Heretic and now HARD ECHO.
